About the Fujifilm FinePix Z37
Released in July 2009, the Fujifilm FinePix Z37 uses a 1/2.3-inch CCD with an effective 10 million pixels. The lens is a 35-105 mm (35mm equivalent) 3x zoom at F3.7-4.2. Its main feature is a 2.7-inch LCD, which gives room for checking shots and composing frames.
The body measures 90 (W) x 58 (H) x 24 (D) mm and weighs about 125g. It takes the dedicated NP-45A battery and SD / SDHC cards. With a wide end of 35mm, it is better suited to nearby portraits and snapshots than to landscapes or full interior views. The small aperture change from F3.7 to F4.2 keeps brightness fairly steady across the zoom range.
Buying one used
The battery is the NP-45A, so try how long it lasts. Cards are SD / SDHC. Check the 2.7-inch LCD for scratches or uneven display, and that the lens barrel works properly.
