About the Kodak EasyShare C653
The Kodak EasyShare C653 was released in January 2007. It has a 1/2.5-type CCD with about 6.0 megapixels and a 36-108 mm lens (3x optical zoom) with an aperture range of F2.7-4.9, a fairly bright wide end.
The body measures 89 x 66 x 35 mm and weighs 195 g. It runs on two AA batteries, with NiMH cells recommended, so there is no dedicated battery pack to hunt for. The screen is 2.4 inches and images are saved to SD cards. Easy AA power is the character of this camera, and it makes spare cells simple to keep in a bag for a day out. The 36-108 mm lens is a sensible range for portraits and general scenes.
Buying one used
