About the Canon IXY DIGITAL 300
The Canon IXY DIGITAL 300, released in April 2001, is an early Canon compact with a 1/2.7-inch CCD and still sizes of Large 1600 x 1200, Middle 1024 x 768 and Small 640 x 480. Video options listed are 640 x 480, 320 x 240 and 160 x 120. The lens is a 35-105 mm equivalent at F2.7, described as roughly 3x optical zoom.
The 1.5-inch low-temperature polysilicon TFT monitor offers 100% coverage. The body measures 94.8 wide, 62.5 high and 29.9 mm deep and weighs about 240 g without battery or card. A dedicated rechargeable lithium-ion battery supplies power, with the CA-PS500 compact power adapter as the listed alternative. Images go to CompactFlash.
