About the Kodak Easyshare M5370
The Kodak Easyshare M5370 was released in September 2011. It combines a 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor of about 16 megapixels with a 5x optical zoom covering 28-140 mm in 35mm terms.
The body is 101 x 58 x 19 mm and weighs 150 g, a little heavier than many slim compacts of the period. It has a 3-inch monitor and records to SD or SDHC cards. The rechargeable Lithium-Ion KLIC-7006 battery is supplied with a charger. A 28 mm wide end suits landscapes and interior views, while 140 mm gives moderate reach for portraits and street scenes. Because the camera is an older CCD model, it is best treated as a simple snapshot tool for daylight and well-lit rooms, with a straightforward menu and an easy-to-hold body.
Buying one used
The battery is the KLIC-7006, so check its charge retention and the charger. Storage is SD or SDHC. Inspect the 3-inch screen and make sure the lens extends and retracts without sticking.
