About the Olympus Stylus 1010
The Olympus Stylus 1010 arrived in January 2008 as a high-magnification zoom compact with a 1/2.33-type CCD of about 10 megapixels effective. Its lens covers 37-260 mm in 35 mm terms, a 7x optical zoom, with an aperture range of F3.5-5.3.
Reaching 260 mm at the telephoto end, it handles school sports days and distant travel scenes. The body measures 99 x 56 x 25 mm and weighs about 175 g, with a 2.7-inch rear screen. It uses the LI-50B lithium-ion battery with a charger and records to xD-Picture Cards. The long reach and the 2.7-inch screen for framing make it comfortable for distant subjects, and the included charger keeps the battery easy to manage.
