About the Olympus Stylus 1020
The Olympus Stylus 1020 came out in January 2008 as a high-magnification compact with a 1/2.33-type CCD of about 10 megapixels effective. Its lens covers 37-260 mm in 35 mm terms, a 7x optical zoom, with an aperture range of F3.5-5.3.
One camera spans wide 37 mm to telephoto 260 mm, bringing distant subjects close. The rear screen measures 2.7 inches, and the body is 99 x 56 x 25 mm and about 175 g. It uses the LI-50B lithium-ion battery with a charger and records to xD-Picture Cards, so prepare the right card. The long reach is the main attraction, and the 2.7-inch screen makes it easy to frame distant subjects, with a charger included for the battery.
