About the Kodak EasyShare M763
The Kodak EasyShare M763, released in January 2008, is a slim compact with a 1/2.5-type CCD of about 7 megapixels. The lens is a 34-102 mm equivalent 3x optical zoom at F2.8-5.1.
The rear screen measures 2.7 inches, and the body is 91 x 57 x 21 mm at 155 g. It uses the dedicated KLIC-7001 lithium-ion battery and records to SD or SDHC cards. Modest resolution and a light body make it a relaxed everyday snapshot camera. With 7 megapixels on a 1/2.5-type sensor, each pixel has a little more room than on 8-megapixel models of the same size, which suits shooting without cropping. The 2.7-inch screen is the same size as on the sibling models in the series.
Buying one used
The dedicated KLIC-7001 battery should be checked for runtime, and a charger should be included. Confirm SD/SDHC card recognition, the lens moving in and out, and a clean 2.7-inch screen.
